This was the only thing that my kids agreed to eat when they were sick these few weeks. It's very easy to make: chicken broth, water, salt, carrots,甜不辣,大白菜,cook for a while and add in Udon noodles and cook for one more minute, and it's done!
Sometimes, I also add meat, 貢丸,cucumber, 蛋花,mushroom...., whatever I have in the fridge.

My kids love Udon too, but they are picky on the things I put in the udon.
Your husband is a picky eater, too, so it's hard for kids to try the things that they don't like.
