Ice Cream Combo

The best ice cream combo that I had recently is Dreyer's Fudge Tracks (no sugar added. vanilla light ice cream with swirls of fudge and chunks of peanut butter cups): Orange Cream Sherbet = 2:1

白木耳燉木瓜

I heard that 白木耳燉木瓜 is good remedy for cold, so I made it last night. It tasted good, and Ha even asked to bring it in the container as part of his lunch.

The best 白木耳 that I bought is 順發牌。 I soaked it in the water for a night, and it's easy to cook to the softness that I like. After the 白木耳 was soft, add papaya pieces and sugar cubes (冰糖）。

蕃薯年糕湯

煮一鍋蕃薯甜湯。
年糕用滾水煮一下，稍軟就撈起，過冷水，瀝乾。
年糕放入蕃薯湯中煮一下就可以了。

蕃薯鬆軟，年糕Q實，加上甜甜的湯，very nice!

我早上沒吃完整鍋，留到晚上喝冷的，年糕吸了水變軟，不過不是軟趴趴一團，而是有點像“舌頭”的口感，想像自己在吃舌頭，很有趣。

Pita Bread

Pita bread 稍微烤熱，打開，裡面想包什麼都可以。The photo was taken few months ago when I tried it the first time. Yesterday, I cooked it again, and I thought that it's even better. What I had were:
Rice: cooked with chicken broth, little salt and spices
Cucumber, tomato and cranberry salad: veges cut into dice, add some  balsamic dressing
Meat: 火鍋肉片醃過煎一下；chicken nuggets

Mediterranean Wraps

One or two months ago, we went biking at Stanford, and afterwards, we decided to have something different for lunch. We walked on the University Ave and saw this restaurant. Customers who sat outside highly recommended it, so we went in and had our first "Mediterranean meal".

Since we had no idea about its food, we looked at the pictures posted outside, and the other customers recommended their favorite dishes to us. We had Chicken Kabab and a Combo Plate with Chicken Shawerma. We liked to wrap salad, meat, yellow rice and hummus dip in the pita bread, and all of us, including Ha and Hee enjoyed the dishes.

煎蘿蔔糕

買來的蘿蔔糕切片，沾蛋汁，用7成的火力煎到喜歡的脆度。

不沾蛋汁也可以。我發現，用5成的火力蓋上鍋蓋慢煎，中間的時間去刷個牙，梳個頭，總之別理它，翻個面，再去作點自己的事，讓它自己待在那裡，最後如果想焦脆一點，再開大一點火，效果最好。

炒甜豆

買到好的甜豆，怎麼煮都好吃。
我用絞肉調味，作成小小肉圓，煎一下。甜豆和carrot先燙一下。三種東西一起加點醬油或鹽炒一下就好。
