晚上爸媽請我們到這家餐館吃飯，這是他們明天和朋友聚餐要去的餐館，是比較屬於墨西哥食物。
一進去，照例跟櫃檯小姐說8個人，要等她帶位，她笑笑說，這家餐廳比較casual隨興，大家可以自己找位子坐，人太多，就自己把桌椅搬移一下。後來，我們又看到別人自己去拿菜，原來，自己去櫃檯點了菜後，每桌會發一個pager，菜好了，pager一響，就自己去拿，連刀叉，衛生紙都要自己服務，所以不用小費。像是麥當勞的形式，感覺不拘束，很好。


小朋友都點了kid's meal的teriyaki chicken，大人大部分點Grilled Salmon-Mango Rollup,送soup或salad。我是覺得沙拉很好吃，除了生菜，還有芒果，紅莓，配上mango dressing,微甜微酸，很開胃。

Mediterranean Wraps

One or two months ago, we went biking at Stanford, and afterwards, we decided to have something different for lunch. We walked on the University Ave and saw this restaurant. Customers who sat outside highly recommended it, so we went in and had our first "Mediterranean meal".

Since we had no idea about its food, we looked at the pictures posted outside, and the other customers recommended their favorite dishes to us. We had Chicken Kabab and a Combo Plate with Chicken Shawerma. We liked to wrap salad, meat, yellow rice and hummus dip in the pita bread, and all of us, including Ha and Hee enjoyed the dishes.

紫花菜

There is a local market "Foothill Produce"near Ha's and Hee's schools, and it has some fresh local veges and fruits, so I like to shop there.

They have purple and orange cauliflowers, so I bought the purple one to try. It didn't taste very different from the white one, but I like the white one better. The purple one is a little bitter than the white one.

It also has red orange, but it's sour, so I didn't like it very much, either. However, its red d'jour pears，colored bell peppers, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries are very good and much cheaper than other markets.

Amici's East Coast Pizzaria

Yesterday, ha's school had a fundraiser at Amici's East Coast Pizzaria , and we ordered a pizza and a pasta to support his school.

The pizza that we ordered was a med. pollo pizza: Sliced Chicken Breast, Baby Spinach, and Slow Roasted Garlic. (No Tomato Sauce) ($10.75/$16.25/$21.55/$24.95) . The toppings and the pizza dough tasted good, but the bottom was 太焦了。。。unhealthy

We also ordered a small clam sauce Linguini pasta ($11.50 Small/$14.95 Large/$26.95 Family). It tasted good but too oily. I didn't like the oily feeling too much.

The restaurant looks big and roomy, but since we took out our order, I was not sure how the service is in the restaurant.
